WELCOME VISITORS
Kings Bay Modelers
Kings Bay Modelers is an AMA chartered Radio Control (RC)
airplane club located in Camden County Georgia, the home of Naval Submarine Base
Kings Bay. The club is a 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in the State of
Georgia. Our members’ fly many types of radio controlled airplanes and
helicopters, both 'gas' and electric powered. Our flying field (for electrics only) is located near
the Camden County High School and the Camden Campus of Coastal Georgia Community
College (Flying fields).
Our larger field is located at the intersection of Clarks Bluff road
and Oakwell Road in Camden County Georgia. We encourage you to come and
visit our fields and meet some of our members. Saturday mornings
(weather permitting) are the best time to watch airplanes in flight and
talk to some of our fliers. If you have a plane and have never
flown before, we highly encourage you to enlist the help of an experienced RC
pilot (see our training page).
