The club now has two flying sites, one provided by Camden
County nea Camden County High School, and our newest field at the intersection
of Clark's Bluff Road and Oakwell Road. The use of the land at the new
field is generously provided by Mr. Howard Davis. ings Bay R/C Modelers would like to
thank the Public Service Authority of Camden County, Mr. William
Brunson, and
everyone who donated time and effort for their hard work and generous support in
providing the club and county with a flying field and the beautiful paved and
striped runway. We also thank Seaboard Construction for donating the material and providing
labor.

This field is rather small and sutable for electrics and park flyers.
It is located near the intersection of I-95 and Laurel Island Parkway
between Camden County High School and the Camden campus of Coastal Georgia
Community College. GPS location is N30.81090, W81.64963. From Laurel island
Parkway turn South onto Wildcat Drive and follow the road past the recreation
department and softball fields. Turn right at the stop sign. Our field will be
on your right. The field features a 300 X 30 foot paved runway. The
club has a new flying site thanks to the efforts of Jeff Howard and the
generosity of the property owner, Howard Davis, III. Here are
a few pictures. The field is at the intersection of Clarks Bluff Road
and Oakwell Road. Click on either image to view full sized. Google map of the area is here. This field has a grass runway which is about 600 X 50 feet.
