| The
club now has two flying sites, one provided by Camden
County near the High School, and our newest field at the intersection
of Clark's Bluff Road and Oakwell Road. The use of the land at
the new
field is generously provided by Mr. Howard Davis. The club has
determined that due to the confined area available at the High School
field and the associated safety concerns, that field will be used for
electric powered aircraft only. The club is excited about
the opportunities to add services and enhancements to this field as
time and finances permit. Photos from the new field will be posted as they become available. We continue to welcome new members and expect to increase membership as we now have a much more open and safe place to enjoy our hobby. The new field is much better for larger aircraft and for pilot training purposes as it is much more open and has much more fly-over area. On April third the club provided a static display of aircraft at the Relay for Life chairity fundraiser held at the Oakwell Armory. |
